Also known as White Peony, this tea is made from the buds and leaves that remain on the bush after the Yinzhen (Silver Needle) tips are harvested. Pai Mu Tan brews a darker, bolder cup than Silver Needle, but has a similar sweetness. Because it has a stronger flavor that other white teas, this is a great choice for someone new to white tea.
