This Japanese twig tea is lightly roasted and comes from a finer grade of tea (Tencha) than regular kukicha. It brews a light cup that is both vegetal and toasty. Kukicha Tencha goes well with meals and is delicious chilled. Because this tea consists of twigs instead of leaves, it is much lower in caffeine than other green teas.
